The Remineralizer Max Filter adds minerals to water low in natural minerals. Can be also be used with R/O to add minerals after purification.
If you desire to use your Water Ionizer in situations where you have low mineral water content you may want to use the Remin-Max internal filter. The Mineral deficient source water, using a Reverse Osmosis System (RO) or some other filtration system can cause your Ionizer to produce lower pH levels than you desire. The Remin-Max contains 70+ organic trace elements to vitalize the water with minerals before it enters your Water Ionizer.
The 70+ trace minerals and elements include - A partial list of minerals/trace elements in the organic mineral source are: Beryllium, Calcium, Carbon, Cerium, Cesium, Germanium, Holmium, Magnesium, Molybedium, Neodymium, Niobium, Osmium, Palladiam, Potassium, Praseodymium, Rhenium, Rhodium, Rubidium, Ruthenium, Samarium, Scandium, Sodium, Stronium, Tantalum, Tellurium, Terbium, Thallium, Vanadium, Yttrium, Zirconium.
The Remin-Max Filter is generally effective in processing up to 500 gallons of water. The capacity will vary depending on the amount of Minerals in your water. A general estimate for a 1 to 2 person household is that the filter should be changed every 6 months.
When installing in your AlkaViva Athena it should go in Position #1.

The Remineralization Filter is manufactured in the USA with NSF certified components. This filters life expectancy is approximately 500 gallons based on the average deficiency of minerals in the water. The filter is biodegradable and should be changed annually if you haven't used 500 gallons.
